Genista radiata (L.) Scop.

Flora Europaea the original Linnean specimen mesophanerophyte xeric, calciphyle, saxicole west Balkan-southern Alpine Stipio pulcherrimae-Festucetalia pallentis, Syringo-Genistetum radiatae, Genisto radiatae-Pinetum nigrae R3123, R4218, R34 habitats which are saxicole from Cerna Mountains, Mehedinti Mountains and Mehedinti Plateau     A very unusual member of the Fabaceae resembling the so common Mediterranean Spartium junceum (with which not surprisingly was considered a congerenic species in Linee's vision).
